Overview
This package combines a 1-day cultural experience in Rombo or Mkuu with a 7-day climb via the Rongai Route, the only route approaching Kilimanjaro from the north near the Kenyan border. The Rongai Route offers quieter trails, diverse landscapes, and excellent views of the mountain. It’s less crowded than other routes, making it ideal for trekkers seeking solitude.
Before your climb, immerse yourself in Chagga culture with activities such as coffee preparation, traditional dances, banana beer brewing, storytelling, and waterfall visits.
